Inside, a large table with a map was rolled across its vast surface. Files and documents were neatly assembled into a half circle like shape on the far wall. A machine existed in a corner that relayed reports from her informants. "Welcome to the war room... Don't look at me, my brother begged dubbed it as that, and father unfortunately agreed."

"Hmmm?" Bodvar hummed, looking around the new room. "A war counsel chamber." He remarked rather looking around at the various instruments that caught his eye. "You house is grand enough in it own way, though it does not look like any place for humans to live in. In any case you are clearly no peddling dabbler." He said stepping over to inspect the machine in the corner with a suspicious air. "I see I have much to grow accustomed to in this age..... But enough." He said turning around slowly and fixing his Master with another messuring look. "You seem very eager to get to this war buissness, even though you seem to rely upon agents and spy's instead of men at arms. Tell me your tale of placements, where we stand , and what you want the Grail for."

As the armored Servant turned towards him David felt himself tense involuntarily. The pressure that this man was giving off was incredible, and he suddenly felt quite small. "Y-yes. I am your Master." He said hastily after the question was posed. He chided himself for the stutter inside. "I have called you forth with nothing. The grail has selected us for each other..." He faltered a little in his prepared speech. "So... yes. I am your Master." He held up his hand revealing the command seals shaped like a gust of wind emblazoned there. "These are my proof, Rider."

A stern expression set into his features as Assassin retracted his unshaken hand and crossed his arms. The piercing gaze returned to his eyes as he regarded his master another analytical assessment. "You certainly are a straight forward one, aren't you sir? In my time it was considered quite rude not to introduce yourself when greeting someone." Assassin's tone was not hostile or annoyed, but neither was it particularly warm. "At any rate my name is Abraham, however I would prefer that you refer to me by my class name for the time being. May i ask whatyourname is, master."

"Abraham?... Hm depending on your age you could be... quite powerful. My name is Stocke. A secured victory is assured if you will co-operate fully and I will do so as well, your insight is beyond a humans. Your opinion is indeed valued."
Stocke opened the door of the broken room. It was a good nice calming night. The type of night that makes you want to enjoy the embrace of the shadows to calm your soul.
"...Assassin. Please focus your main efforts on the close quarter combat classes. The other's may have appropriate counter measures if you attempt to get near them. If you are detected try to divert the enemies attention and immediately retreat."
Stocke's body felt heavy. He clutched his head for a second, a mild pain surged throughout him. The feeling of a great weight was bestowed upon him.
This was the upkeep of a servant, a being that far transcends a normal human being, one that wrote their legends with their souls as their ink and their actions as their pen, making a deep dark mark on the passages of time.

Rider nodded slightly at David. "At the very least, you are my Master for this ritual. For formalities sake... I will serve you. I hope enjoyable battles and ideals will clash upon this field..."
Rider looked away for a second, closing his eyes to think, then opening them again and looking at David. "Today is the first day, I advise that you do not seek combat unless you are sure of your victory... and that the enemy have only recently summoned their servant too... or else the situation would be, disadvantegous at the very least. I am a King, good sir. You are my Master. But for you to earn that name... you must rival the glory of the King of Knights. If you have such resolve... I do hope you'll show it to me."

Valerie nearly slammed her head into the workbench that occupied most of her atelier, apparently the fabled impaler was something of an attention hound. One moment she had been refining the detail of her duplicate of the physical side of her building, the next her view was totally obscured by the massive bounded field springing up on the magical side. Certainly the defences the spectral castle offered must be formidable to blank out her scrying so thoroughly, but now she couldnt monitor the local area for activity at all. It would take all night just to re-tune her own bounded field over the building back to a useful level.
Muttering darkly under her breath, Valerie set to work again.

Assassin sighed at his masters lack of apology, and apparent acknowledgement of his own rudeness. He had a feeling this partnership was going to take some getting use too. He followed behind his master out the door and into the night, listening well to his master's orders. Assassin's irritated mood faded however when Stocke started to clutch his head.
Assassin was at his side in an instant. Placing a hand on his master's shoulder he guided the magus over to a nearby wall to let the younger man rest against. Giving a quick examination, Assassin concluded it was most likely fatigue, probably brought on by the strain required to both summon and maintain the servant. "Perhaps, mister Stocke, I should find you a place to rest first before I begin my task."

"You are a king?" David said, feeling a note of apprehension forming. A King. He ha not bargained for this. What did he have in common with some haughty ruler? This was not what he had wanted at all. "I see." he said slowly not sure where to go from here. "well, I am no King, I hope we can get along though. In any case." He started after a pause. "I don't think any of the Other Servants have been summoned yet." He stopped once again when he suddenly felt a tremendous pull on his magical circuits, it took him off guard, like a suction draining away his small reserves at an alarming rate. It was good that he did not rely upon Thaumaturgy or else he would have been made quite powerless in this war. He shook his head recovering as quickly as he was able.
"I-I see..." He said again almost to himself. "Your quite powerful aren't you? I never thought it would be this much."

Alicia smiled at the Servants inquisitive look at the message hub. However, she returned to the matter at hand. "Men at arms during this era... is very unwarranted, many more restrictions exist now then in your time," she said to him. She focused in on the map, leaving everything else alone. "We've gotten word from our people in the Mage association that there are certain individuals that have re-forged the grail. However, their whereabouts and names have yet to be discovered." She paused and pointed to three spots on the map. "Though we have little to act on, we strongly feel that the creators are in Japan, England, or the region of Dubai. I've already ordered our cells in those areas to see if our prediction is right or not. If our prediction does indeed turn out to be accurate, the other masters will no doubt converge on that location." Before she could continue on, a slight creak sounded from the door.
"Ma'am, please excuse the interruption. I just wanted to report that the meal is ready," said a maid dressed in traditional ware. She bowed and left the room as quickly as she entered.
Alicia sighed and looked at Berserker. "We can always come back to this later," she said in a slightly lighter tone. "Lets go to the grand dining room. i suspect the cook may have outdone herself tonight."

"Hmmmm." Bodvar hummed, his face twisted into a frown. "You seem generous enough, but such maters make for ill conversation at a meal. Tell me your tale and perhaps then we will turn towards your hospitality. I don't know anything about the Grail being reforged, or you or your business. I will have it all up front. Who are you and yours? And where do you hail from? I take it that this war has happened more than once?" He said eyeing the world map with ill humored interest. "Before all else where are we? "Well, it is only right for you to know," she pointed out the marked nations. "Each have been the stages for the reoccurring grail war in or around those countries we have pinged. As for why the Grail was reforged... well, I can only guess at the real reason behind that. And, we are here," she walked to the map and pointed at Italy. "The Northern part. Perhaps later, I can show you the alps. Grand mountains that serve as a border between our nation and others. There's a rich history behind those alps too." Alicia, for the first time, broke her previous demeanor. She couldn't help it, she loved the alps. She always went there with her mother and brothers and sisters. "Treasured memories as well..."
Her face turned passive and disconnect as she finally arrived to her servants next question. "As I said... I am Alicia Zelpher, fourth generation of the Zelpher house." She sat on the edge of the table. Her eyes lost its previous edge. "To be honest, my business is derived from my fathers wants. I was just chosen by the means to secure it. However," she was no longer talking to her servant but more so to herself. "If the grail were for my own, my wish is modest, not to overly ambitious... I've done horrible things leading up to the war." She looked to her servant, slightly nervous now. "I just wish those things can be reversed and everything returned back to normal." Pain wallowed stabbed at her chest. She turned away from her servant, briefly.
"Anyways, that's my story. Have a left anything out?"

Lancer stood in wait for a response from the servant spying on him that he knew he wouldn't get. He gave a little smirk, he had won this first challenge and he was going to make a trend out of this. He turned around showing his back to his enemy and with one mighty bound he launched himself to the top of the building he killed that group of assassins. His new-found strength was well suited and with another jump he clear a few more buildings. In no time at all he was back at Valerie's manor, he entered the same way he left and bent the windowsill even more. He stood back in the same room he was summon almost surprised that he didn't see his master lounging on the couch again. But that didn't matter as he sat down in front of the window and closed his eyes just as the sun began to rise on the city that had no idea what transpired the night before.
----------------------------------------------------
Alex woke up like he always did regretfully, he hated the morning usually because he was hungover and had just gotten to sleep about a hour before. He rose from his bag cracking his neck and looking around the room; he notice Sabre was sleeping in a corner which upset him a little he had a bed and couch she could have used. But that thought quickly left his mind as he grabbed some new cloths and opened the window. He wasn't a master of wind for nothing and he did all his work quietly as to not disturbed his servant, and with one quick move he went through the window shutting it quietly behind him, he knew if he used the door to leave.
Now Alex was outside, he took in the cool morning air and headed to the bar, he most likely had some explaining to do. He hurried along and made it to the bar in record time, he entered and immediately got yelled at my the bartender. "Shut up old man......" He screamed back with a smile as he sat down and outstretched an empty hand for it will soon be filled with his usual, a prairie oyster. And no sooner did he reach out that he recieved his drink, he wasn't hungover this morning but he did feel like he was run over by a bus thanks to the summoning.
"So what happened last night" The old man asked as he threw away the egg shell that he cracked for the oyster.
"This girl, old man..... this girl" Alex answered as he put the drink to his lip and with one motion he downed the whole thing. His face contorted for a moment but was quickly replaced with a smile. "You wouldn't believe me if I told you." He finished as he put his head down on the bar.

As lancer returned Valerie took a moment to look up from her work and observe the form of the tiny servant standing in the middle of her model. creating a pair of dull grey oblongs from manifested ether, one in the air in front of her and the other in the model in front of the tiny lancer, she spoke, "That seems to have gone well. I detected some magical combat perhaps an hour ago though, was that you? Could you identify the enemy servant?"
Somewhere in the house the air was vibrating in time with her two ether clumps, carrying her voice to her servant, so she waited for his response.

Samiel sighed, "Only one other servant active last night master, I wonder where the rest have gone," Archer turned to view the small formation of golems that was being constructed, "You are taking good advantage of my much smaller need for your prana than most servants master, but you are still a creature of flesh. "So. Would you have me end his life now? How silly that you cannot put aside your personal feelings of pride." Alicia's impatience started to turn to anger. She clearly misread this servant. "However, I'd like to correct a statement of yours. YOU are NOT fighting for him. YOU are fighting for ME," she said through gritted teeth. "Like I said before. I have my own intentions for the grail."
"Also. Don't you ever mistake me for one of his low-life agents or servants."
------------------------
Sabre awoke. Though her master tried to sneak away, she felt his presence leave. A smile played on her lips. A wind Mage. How interesting.
She attached her armor pieces that she took off back on. Her sword hung tightly to her waist as she whipped her cape behind her. She discovered a mirror and quickly checked her hair. "Now, its time to track down Master," she said with a smirk. "Though... the grail did show me the dressing of this era..." She looked at her armor, cape, and her most noticeable sword. "Hmmm... well, lets just take care of that then."
She muttered a few words that casted a shroud around her armor and cape that she used on her sword last night. "Thank the gods for the Divine wind," she muttered. With one last check to make sure everything was hidden, she opened the window and closed it behind.
With inhumane speed, she rushed to the presence of her master. At the same time, she remained alert for any other servants that could be near by. As she drew closer to her masters presence, she slowed down and walked the streets like a normal human. A few suggestive looks came about her as the passer-byers presumably eyed her figure. She sighed and finally came to the building.
"A bar? Oh heavens. A bar. Thats where he went?" She sighed once again and opened the door. She saw her master drinking and talking to a commoner. She walked towards him and sat on the chair next to him.
"I wonder if they serve ambrosia. Ah, perhaps not," she said as she looked at the variety of drinks.

I need to make him believe that I'm still fighting for him, mainly for the resources, but at the right time, I will strike out and kill him."
She grimaced as she looked at the not-as-tensed servant. "Forgive me for this servant. However, know that every step we take on our journey to the grail, everything I say is by my own will, not his." She got up to her feet once more.

Bodvar was silent for a very long time gazing down at his Mistress, he stood there saying nothing until the tension in the room was palpable. When he finally spoke it was in a low deep growl. "When I lived I was slain by the machinations of a Witch of similar bent to the methods you speak of now. I have no love for women who skulk and plot in the dark. Such falsehood disgusts me...." He was silent for a while more. "... However. This man you speak of. Your father. He is a sorcerer as well? I suppose.... that if he is a dishonorable man himself as you have said, then deifying him in such a manner would be skaldic justice. I am willing to.... tolerate this notion."
Bodvar nodded his head when he finished, and then looked out the window. "What is your treacherous plan then? And why should you not simply send me to challenge him to the death? If we are to fight for the grail we should resolve this as soon as possible, with honor if you can."

Alicia couldn't help but feel sorry for the servant concerning his death. A slight twinge still remained. "I swear to you. Father is a man that deserves death. As you said, you died at the hands of deceit and treachery. Yes, I shall follow along similar lines but slightly different as well." She gestured to everything in the room. "My deceit lies with exploiting the information and resources that I have available to me. I will exploit these resources until I have no more use for them."
With a flick of her hair she regained her coolness. "I shall not involve you in my personal vendetta. I shall issue a duel after I obtain the grail. From there, I shall see if my life is worthy of living."

Bodvar nodded his head stiffly. It seemed that his strange, rather misplaced Master was quite determined to see this out herself. Though he disliked admitting it he felt a grudging twinge of respect for her insistence. As dirty as he felt standing by while this witch ploted to slay her own father her way had some honor to it. However more straightforward it would be, sending him against her father would be pitting a Human against a heroic Spirit. There was only one way that could end, and in a strange way he had never thought of much before hers was was almost better than the one he had proposed. This way her father still had some chance, as twisted as the notion was to him. Feeling very unsatisfied he decided to let the issue go for now and turned to look out the window. "It is getting dark, and I have never been this far south before." He muttered to himself. "Mistress, if you have no more need of me, I would like to go out and feel the lay of the land. I do not feel in the mood for food tonight." He said crossing his arms once more. Though he had only been summoned not but a few minuets ago somehow it felt like a long time, and a part of him was now itching to get out of the strange house and cleanse himself of this conference that had turned to talk of treachery.

"Does either of those question matter?" Lancer answered without opening his eyes, he already did not like how Valerie was talking to him, it was completely beneath the likes of him to be talking like this. "One Ruby Duchess for the lady........" Alex said without looking to see who it was. The bartender started making the drink immediately as Alex spoke its name. And while all that was happening he turned his head to see who he just ordered for. "Hi there.... mis...... YOU!" Alex blurted out as his eye widen and he stretched out his arm to catch the drink sliding Sabre's way.
"So why aren't you giving this pretty little thing her drink?" Old man questioned with eyebrow raised.
"She's pregnant....." Alex answered without thinking. "Um..... yea.... Pregnant..... so she can't have this stuff..... um.... bad for the baby....." He was already regretting his answer but now he had to stick to it.
"Well that explains a lot...." The old man chuckled.
"Shut up Old Man" Alex said as he pounded his head into the bar.
"Why you didn't scream your lungs out when, if I am not mistaken, she crashed the concert, why you ran off with her leaving Mike and them to cover for your ass, why she can find you the next day...." The old man continued.
"SHUT UP OLD MAN!!!!" Alex nearly screamed, Sabre didn't need to hear all this. "Do you need to go into detail like that?!"
"I have just scratched the surface, if you want detail we would be all day." The old man mocked. Suddenly a not all that young girl appeared out of nowhere and jumped onto Alex's back. "What did Alex do now....?" She giggled as she squeezed tighter into him.
"Nothing Janet!!!!" He said as he picked himself up putting the drink to his lips and chugged it like he did the prairie oyster. "Don't you two have anything better to do?!"

Eric stood up and stretched. "Yeah... sleep sounds good." Admittedly he was starting feel the effects of fatigue at this point. He had gone about 26 hours without rest so the sluggishness in his actions was understandable. But what it had managed to net him was an undeniable asset for the grail war.
Seven human sized golems, one added to the original six he'd made in advance, were standing in a line formation in front of him. And around them were several dozen miniature ones. From Eric's own calculations he could likely manage to create one man sized golem a day with enough mana left over to create a few smaller ones of varying sizes. Grail wars in the past were known to take weeks, sometimes over a month, which meant that if this war took long enough, Eric could establish a small army of golems. While he doubted any of his creations could take on a servant alone, especially one of the knight classes, in a large enough group he was responsibly sure they could overwhelm an enemy servant through sheer number. A nice little trump card for the later stages of the war.
"Well," He said turning back to Archer. "I guess I'll tuck in 'till mourning then. We'll do some more scouting tomorrow and maybe make a few contingency plans encase we ever have to storm Lancers little 'castle'. For now I think it best to let the other servants deal with him unless we can find a way to draw him out of there." Yawning, he cracked his neck. "In the mean time we can let my little minis keep an eye on those brainless goons of yours for any activity." He walked off, waving a hand over his shoulder. " G'night Archer, see ya after dawn."
___________
Having left his master in a more suitable place to recover, Assassin left to do the scouting his master had ordered him to do. While for most servants that would mean finding the highest vantage point available, Assassin instead took what he considered the more intelligent method in the form of a late night/pre-dawn stroll. His logic behind this was that, while his Victorian style trench coat, gloves and top hat seemed slightly out of place amongst the local fashion of the city, it was much more subtle then say, bouncing from roof top to roof top where anyone with two working eyes had to just look up to spot you.
Assassin spent his walk admiring the scenery. Dubai was a beautiful city. nestled on the coastline with artistic style skyscrapers that light up in the early morning with a wonderful shining brilliance. He spent much of his time asking the locals for directions to various places of interest, such as a library or a local museum, restaurants, hotels, travel centers. While his questions were innocent themselves, and he looked the part of a tourist enough to blend into society, he was really using the information to make a mental map of the city. He had already sorted out a few potential places for his master to set up a base of operations in, as well as a few areas to avoid. Particularly a few districts with a higher crime rate.
As he spent his time walking about the city he notice that at some point the sun had arose above the horizon. He felt it's warmth settle down on him as it slow reached higher into the sky, much warmer than it had ever felt in his home land. While a servant didn't need to eat or drink, nor would this issue with the local heat ever be enough of a problem to wear down a servant's fatigue, even with the trench coat Assassin had on, part of him still felt the want for a drink. This impulse was most powerfully drawn from small pub he was walking by. Pausing his stride as he examined it, Assassin considered it for a moment. It would be a good place to pick a few local rumors that could lead him to the other servants, and he doubted his master would mind if he took a short break.
Taking off his hat as he pushed the door open, Assassin entered the bar.

But the impaler yelling wasn't the only thing that happened because of this witch's game a large wooden spike shot forth from a wall in Valerie's workshop and speared both orbs of ether that she used to talk to him. This act wasn't just to shut Valerie up but to show her Lancer had complete control over all within his domain and that he could kill someone including her without much effort without even needing to be within eye-shot. He has killed his allies before to achieve his goal and he was willing to do it again and he felt Valerie should be aware of that fact.

"Ever the medival warlord. Like a true primative strength is what you understand," Valerie sighed a deep sigh before stabbing the tiny Lancer before her through the chest with a drawing pin. It couldnt damage him, as a servant his magic resistance was simply in a different league to a mortal, but the phantom pain of being impaled would certainly give him her return message.
Standing and walking out of her atelier to meet her servant, face to face, "Very well then. If it is a taunt to our enemies you wish, let us go. We shall walk the battlements, side by side, and add the further temptation of a master and servant in the open in broad daylight to the taunt your fort offers. I will join you personally, directly in combat, and with that proof of my mettle i hope to end this foolish squabbling among us. Do you agree?"

Archer nodded and astralised, entering his lowest prana consumption state of all and set in for a watch over his home base while the small army of golems headed out to monitor his side projects while he waited for them to come to fruition.
When his master awoke there would be time for more preparations.

Severine "Nostra" Moreau
This world was strange, far more so than her native France. The slim woman was kneeling on the ground, her head bowed as she stared at the boards of the dock she'd been summoned upon. Stale blue eyes roved over the planks before she allowed her head to turn upward, platinum strands brushing against her swanlike neck. The man standing before her was, for lack of a better word, strong. His features were completely masculine and there didn't seem to be a feminine tone about him other than his long hair, which reminded her of a snowy lion's mane.
Rising to her bare feet, her brown leather bodice giving a slight groan as the blue fabric shushed it, Severine's partially lidded eyes sparked with amusement.
"Greetings to you as well, Master," she seemingly purred, her voice slightly rough with strange disuse.
Conflict.
Conflict.
A very interesting word as of late.
Gaining a bit of confidence after realizing what he was referring to, she spoke up again, "I am Severine Moreau, sometimes known as Nostra."

Rider:
"...You have no other "weight" of a servant to compare your current state of affairs too. Please, Master if you do not wish the enemy to make a fool of you, take everything in account so you survive, even small mistakes such as these." Rider walked to a nearby window to gaze out at the world.
"It doesn't look, too different at least. I may even come to like it. Master, you have not given me your name. Choose now. If you give me your name we can establish a more informal relationship. If you desire a more formal one focused on the war then I will not mind that. You should be back to full strength in a day or two, we can survey the area until then or simply rest."
Rider bent down and looked at the details of the designs and decorations of the room with utmost interest, then stood at full height and at attention addressed to David.
"So, my Master... your decision?

"My name." David said after only a second of hesitation. "Is David Patterfeild... I hope that you are satisfied with the amount of prana I provide?" He added after a little, rather concerned with the reprimand by his Servant so soon after the summoning. "In any case I hoped that you would say that about the surrounding area. I am ready to move now if you want." He finished drawing himself up more and forcing himself to smile. His Servant was eager for action, and whatever miscalculation he had made since then was assuaged by this fact. His Servant wanted to move, and that was the very thing he had been looking for.

"David... 'beloved' is it's meaning, if I recall correctly. Very well then David. I will do any action you desire for the sake of victory, I assure you the chance of my defeat... a few rare people may give me trouble but I am sure even if they were here I could deal with them appropriately under the circumstances. I am the king of Listenoise. If we go out today you'll be at half you strength, so you may lose alot of energy if I get into a fight and my Noble Phantasm may be lacking or restricted, but it's entirely possible the enemy would be in that sutuation too. If no Servants are around... we locate Master's and take from them their arms then its a preemptive strike. Resting is not a bad idea either, you will need time to get adjusted to the weight placed upon you by the contract. You could come with me or send me alone to scout but you may be open for attack. Consider every option. Afterwards I shall relentlessly hunt the objective and enjoy this sport."
Rider spoke clearly and too the point, yet it was unmistakeable... there was excitement in his tone, even if David chose to not do anything, the act of that personal decision would be enough to tell him the war was interesting and his master reliable enough to think for themselves...

"By all means," Alicia said, resigned.
As her servant plunged into the outerlands, she took a look at the map once again. A slight buzz came from her message machine. She reached for the receiver. "What's your report."
A gruff voice replied from the otherside. "Ma'am, there though the evidence is not yet solidified, there is a very distinct possibility of the grail residing in Dubai."
Excitement jolted through her veins like lightning. "How certain are you?"
"Quite Certain, Ma'am. I've dispatched some shadowers to confirm. I shall update you with haste."
"See to it you do," she said. She hung up the receiver and found Dubai on the map. Her eyes soaked in the region, planning, scheming.

Sabre had a huge grin plastered over her face. The new girl was hugging her master with familiarity. She sensed no danger from this individual. Her eyes looked at the flushed man, whom ,seconds ago, was enjoying a nice, quiet, drink with the bartender.

David let out an exited breath and grinned. "Lets go. You see Rider, from the beginning my strategy relies upon moving fast. I hoped to be moving as much as possible in this war. It is how I live in any case. Besides, remember that you have the strength that I am missing, you at any rate shall be at full power." Striding over to the corner of the room David ceased his backpack, grabbed a few regents that lay scattered upon the floor and turend back to rider. "In any case." He said with a grin. "This house is only shielded by a single bounded field. The others could know we are here in a half an hour or so. My real base is far from here, and I was hoping ot give you a view of the city as quickly as possible." Spreading apart his hands he gestured towards the door. "Shall we?"

Bodvar
Bodvar Bijarki flew through the air like a wisp of smoke caught upon the wind. His spirit free from any physical form he was completely unbound moving like a hurricane that made no more than a whisper as it rushed through the twilight. he could go anywhere like this. Walls could not stop him, he could poor himself through a keyhole if he wished, the sky was no barrier to him, he could soar into it, even the earth below him was like water that he could dive into as he wished, and he moved with a speed and mobility that put to shame the swiftest storm. For some reason however he found himself unphased by the sudden and complete freedom of movement and form.
Whether he had known it or not he had spent the past few hundred years in such a state within the Throne of Hero's and to him it now felt as natural as breathing. He wondered at the conundrum for only an instant before he put it out of his mind and flew on, materializing only briefly to walk through the Bounded field that surrounded his mistresses mansion before shedding his form once more and diving into the air. This land was nothing like his. Compared to his own land it was soft low and warm. He hardly remembered ever seeing any land so mountain-less before.
Within a minute he was over 25 miles away from the house that he had been summoned into. Settling like a mist into a gully between two hills Bodvar twisted himself back into the shape of man and sat down upon the earth all alone. What had he been summoned into? Already he was here and now a part of some hidden game of shadows between a sorceress and her own father. He sniffed at the sky above him. Hadn't he answered the Grails call to resolve a tragedy caused by something similar? He ground his teeth and cast about him for a peice of wood. Findning one he pulled from a small sheath by his side a simple knife.
Not even looking at the piece in his hands he began to whittle. The air in this place was warm even at night. it would make it hard to think. The night should be cold, instead down here it felt like a fine autumn morning to him, the air not even biting his skin at all. It felt unnatural. Of all the nights in his life he had less need of a fire now than ever. But never the less he needed one now for other reasons than warmth. After sitting for a while staring up at the sky full of strange constellations he rose and began to gather wood. The gully was full of brush which he rooted up and cast in heap, then, striking his sword upon a rock he cultivated the sparks, fanning the flame to life with his breath. Soon he was sitting before a roaring fire staring into its depths.
How long he sat there it was impossible to say. Many hours at the least he sat undisturbed by man or beast while the fire filled his vision like a creeping mist. Long he stared, and eventually before him in the flames stretched a vision. A city far away, in a desert land far from here. It was a stranger and more alien place than even this one. The buildings were tall, the streets wide and full of people, a city by the sea. He saw many things in the fire that night, and when at last he rose to his feet, the blaze a heap of ash before him, the light of the sun just beginning to creep over the horision he knew where he had to go.
"Mistress." He said, standing over her sleeping form. Finding her room had not been difficult, and apparently her wards had not alerted her to the presence of her own Servant. "Mistress." He said again shaking her slightly. "Its time to leave. You have a long journey before you, and I must bear you many miles before it is over."

The man smiled at the satisfaction of a successful ceremony; words flowing from the female servant's mouth in a river, pleasantly mannered. Eyes glinting with near-childish glee as he soaked up her appearance; not only was the aesthetically pleasing to the eye, but it made it obvious she was from the Caster class he desired. He noted a storm began to roll in the distance before offering a hand to the woman, "Truly a pleasure to meet you, Miss. Moreau. Please excuse the impromptu location of your summoning; I selected this location to avoid drawing attention from unwanted third parties."

Just as she took his hand, Severine looked around the place she'd been summoned. It was large and spacious with numerous crates stacked upon each other, sometimes with netting over them or tarps that crackled from the wind of the storm nearby. The wood of the dock under her small feet felt dry and gritty from the sand and salt in the air, not that it bothered her much at all. Stale blue eyes were attracted to the storm though, a large, rolling thunderhead seemed to be making its way over the chaotic waves under the dock, just below their feet. At first glance, she would've believed it to be a hurricane, but it was obviously a simple storm.
Glancing back to Recuk, Nostra smiled softly, a gentle upturn of her lips. "As it is to meet you. The location is an interesting one, perhaps there would be more hiding places for these third parties than not?" Letting her gaze wander over the scenery around them, she noted several places where people could be hiding, but said nothing else about it. Looking back to him, she spoke again, "How can I serve you on this night, Master?"
It was barely a purr. She hadn't meant for it to come out in such a way, yet at the same time, she couldn't imagine it being said or asked in any other.

"In most cases, yes, I would be inclined to agree with you... This would appear the ideal spot for spying on others opposed to keeping secrets... However..." Recuk pulled up his other hand to his chest, placing his thumb against his middle finger; creating an echoing snap that traveled throughout the docks unimpeded. Upon the ceilings, behind the crates, and in the sky above them shone teeny crimson dots, seemingly attached to avian creatures - they surrounding area was literally teeming with them. Chuckling, he said: "I own more than a single pair of eyes."
On that note the dozens of Ravenlike constructs lifted into the air on wings of shadow, flitting off towards a shining metropolis in the distance, "Tonight, Miss Moreau, I'd prefer to spend getting to know one another. After all, we will be working towards the same objective. Albeit for different reasons." He took her hand gently in his before facing away from her, leading the Servant from the wooden seafront; the storm in the distance rolled and roared. "Best we leave now... Question though... What do you feel about formal clothing in this age? You should be aware of the general styles because of the default programming."

As the red dots appeared, Severine couldn't help but be impressed. It seemed that this man had the forethought to plant the creatures there to fully secure the place. It was very nice and seemed to be air tight. More than one pair of eyes was right, her own stale blue ones looked to the dock's salty boards and the gentle movement under them. Perhaps there was someone there? No, if he had taken the care to secure the entirety of the docks, then he would've made sure no one would be able to escape into the dark waves to spy upon them. His eyes though, dozens of ravens, took off in a single flock of beating wings and cawing beaks.
The styles... They were rather form fitting and revealing, not what Severine was used to in the least bit, yet this would be an excellent learning curve for her. Broadening one's sense of style wouldn't hurt at all. The thunder in the distance rolled against the wind once more, reaching her ears and making her feel very empowered along with the tingle of electricity surging through the air.
Allowing Recuk to lead her across the dry, crusty boards on bare feet. "That we should. From what I've been thinking, they're very different from what I'm used to, more flamboyant and form fitting even aesthetic in some cases. Was there anything specific you were wanting me to dress in?" Programming. He made it sound as if she were some kind of machine, yet from what she'd seen, being summoned with such ease, she probably was one to him. It would only make sense that he would fit his tool with the proper knowledge needed to survive in a world vastly different from her own.

"That almost makes me sound like a dishonorable man," His lips, which had remained curved like the smile of the Cheshire cat these past few minutes, twitched for a moment at the notion. "Tomorrow evening I'm meeting with a friend of mine. An informant if you will. If we visited an upper end restaurant with you dressed as you are now... We're bound to stick out. Teaching you style and then dressing you like a doll would be a childish way to start good relations with my newfound ally, would it not?" He reasoned aloud before moving to the drivers seat, and turning to the Servant once more with a wink. "Just because we're going to war doesn't mean we can't get a drink first!"

"Oh? The noble warlord is going to let the frail woman lead him around his own fortress? Heavens..." With a smirk Valerie leapt from the balcony to the opposite rooftop, and then on for three more, stringing herself along with thin wisps of materialised nothing. Once far enough away from her home base she dropped all of the passive protections that shielded her prana from detection and began to move about using basic reinforcement rather than her true magical skill.

Pellanor scatched the back of his head and chuckled before saying another word, maybe he wasn't as famous as he thought he would be. Althought this could work for his advantage against the other servants it still disturbed him somehow. He nodded with a more serious expression in his face. " You need not worry about material possesions with me, Kid " he tried to lighten the mood with a small nickname. He walked out the door and into the garage knowing where he was going as he examined the whole place the second he was summoned. They had reached one of the nearby cars, a convertible porsche was sitting in the shadows and it seemed to have magically opened and started for the servant as he walked closer to it. He watched in facination as his Servant slid smoothly into the drives seat. Ducking in after him he shot a speculative glance at the empty ignition. It was something more natural and automatic to him and suddenly his dwelling in his thoughts came to an end when his master asked the dreaded question. Why does he wanted the grail so bad ? He sighed and without taking his eyes of the road he explained.
" Kid, you are much like what I once desired to be.... You are free and you left the world behind to grasp the real meaning of life in your hands... " A small pause " The oportunity, to take things back and fulfill them in another way is my desire " this time he looked for no more than 2 seconds at his master with curiosity in his eyes. David blinked at the rather forward claim by his Servant that he was like him. How could the Servant know such a thing? True it was what he had been hoping for, but the abruptness of the statement put him off somewhat. They had only met 5 minutes ago after all.
His Servant was also rather vauge upon what he wanted to Grail for, but then again he supposed that it had been a very personal question after all. He suddenly realized that he had probably asked the question much to soon to be proper...
"Well, as for me... I.... I want to use it to become able to see more of the world." He said decided upon vagueness as well. It suddenly hit him that this was all very sudden for both of them. "Shomething is going on... wait." He said as one of his crows espied something strange. Away, only a few miles from where they were now what looked like a giant robot from some sci fi show was stalking what looked like an ordinary couple who were leaving a bar...
He blinked. Those two could be in trouble, and while he was not exactly the most heroic type neither did he like magi drawing others into their war... also, the strange construc prabably had something to do with what was happening... and would offer a good estemation of his servants power...

Sabre felt the deadly force behind the golems swing. From her sense honed from the battlefield of past, she reacted. She reversed her grip on her sword and side stepped away from the golems smash that decimated the ground where she once stood. She gripped her sword and wretched it clean from the stone giant with relative ease. She jumped a few feet away from the giant.
"I'll have to dismantle you piece by piece," she said with an exasperated sigh. She saw that the golem wasn't affected by her previous attack. She looked to its emotionless face. "Lets start with that." In seconds she dashed off, brandishing her sword, aiming for the skull of the stone giant.

Alicia shuddered from the blood that splashed generously onto the ground where her servant stood. She was too careless. She should have known that some sort of trap awaited them. Though her hands still shook slightly from the crimson red, she fought to regain control of her mind. She envisioned her servants wounds in her head as she tapped into her mana.
Miracle of the divine healer. I seek your exalted powers to heal the one whom has been touched by the hand of despair.
In seconds, she had spoken the hymn and a brilliant, radiant light surrounding the wound sites of Berserker. It imploded as it began to repair the torn flesh that the enemies spears peeled apart.
As the spell worked finished its purpose, she looked towards the building where the enemy servant surely awaited. "Berserker. We must exercise caution with this one." Her eyes narrowed slightly as her uncomfortably regarding the blood was replaced with deadly anger. "We may encounter more devices of this servant before he actually shows himself."

The same as the last time, the golem didn't block the strike. With the invisible blade it was difficult to tell exactly how the servant was going to attack. The invisible blade came down on it's forehead and nearly cleaved it's face in two. The golem lost the ability to see out it's left eye as it received critical damage to it's head.
But again the construct was made of stone, not flesh. The blow that would have killed a creature of flesh and blood only hindered the stone warrior. When the invisible blade came down so too did the golems stone fist come up. It fired an uppercut into the servants belly, intent on trading a blow with the female in exchange for the one it had just received.

Lancer saw Berserker's master heal him and he wasn't impressed, if the servant was more aware of his surroundings those wounds wouldn't have happened. And now his master was blindly healing him, turning her back to her enemy, that was a mistake. Lancer's armor flexed as his body began to move, he built speed quickly as he reached the edge of the roof, and then he jumped. He flew the air like some kind of demon and as he sailed toward his target he readied his weapon, it sliced through the air with deadly intent. His spear was aimed right at the space between he collar bone and shoulder blade, running her through would be an understatement he was planning on displaying her body in front of his master's mansion.
