MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO. (KTVI) ? My name is Kuma and I an one of the 60 animals rescued from a home in Edwardsville, Illinois. We were all taken to the Metro East Humane Society where we were checked by a veterinarian, given a clean place to sleep and fed well.
I am an Akita, and I?m about 10 years old. After I had a good bath and grooming, I felt so much better!
Now that I?m picture-ready, I am also ready for a new home.
I?m a very sweet boy and I love all the attention I?ve been getting the last week.
The Metro East Humane Society also has lots of my former housemates ready to find new homes ? especially my cat friends.? There will be many dogs and cats ready over the next couple of weeks.? We?d love to meet you and go home with you!
Please consider adopting us, to help us understand what a truly loving home is all about.
