Jonas Brothers announce album, concert date

By Randee Dawn, TODAY contributor

How did fans go for three years without a unified Jonas Brothers project to squeal over? Well, as of Monday their wait was over: Kevin, Joe and Nick announced on the TODAY plaza that they will play Radio City Music Hall for a single night on Oct. 11, and they confirmed they're working on their first album together in three years.

"The time was so right for us," said Nick, "because we fulfilled things we wanted do on our own, came back together ... it felt like the right time in our lives, as well."

The brothers have kept busy. Kevin stars with his wife Danielle on E!'s "Married to Jonas," Joe has a solo album and a CW network reality competition series, "The Next," and Nick has also released his own solo album while starring on Broadway in "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying."?

And while their single live show will be the only one in the U.S. this year, Nick promised: "It's not a final show -- it's the first of many to come."

Check out what else they had to say in the video.
